Fish Tacos with Fresh Slaw

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Tilapia Filets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 tsp. Tajin
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Carrot
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Lime
  • Salt and Pepper, for seasoning
  • Kraft Chipotle Aioli
  • Avocado and Cilantro, for garnish
  • Tortillas of Choice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Spray sheet pan with cooking spray and lay thawed tilapia filets across the sheet pan. Drizzle tilapia filets with olive oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  3. Combine spices in a small bowl: garlic powder, chili powder, Tajin.
  4. Season tilapia filets with spice mixture, sprinkling it across the filets on the sheet pan.
  5. Place seasoned tilapia fillets in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Fresh Slaw: Meanwhile, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, and purple onion in a bowl with the juice of one lime and one tablespoon of olive oil. Season lightly with salt, pepper, and a dash of Tajin to your liking.
  7. Once tilapia finishes baking, split fillets in half and build your tacos, placing 1/2 tilapia fillet on a warm tortilla. Top with Kraft Chipotle Aioli. Garnish with fresh slaw, sliced avocado, and cilantro.
  8. Serve with rice, corn, beans or other sides of choice. Happy Taco Tuesday!
